Alfalfa is commonly used for bone and joint disorders, digestive abnormalities, skin disorders, and ulcers of the body.

Alfalfa is a source of chlorophyll, beta carotene, calcium, and vitamins D, E, and K.  It supports liver function and cleanses the blood.  It is used as a laxative, diuretic, and as an antiseptic.

Alfalfa can be used for urinary health concerns and support the kidney, bladder, and prostate.

Those who should not use alfalfa products are those who have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
