EdiSparklz® Edible Glitter

EdiSparklz are colorful toppings and inclusions that can be used in a wide range of applications. 100% edible, EdiSparklz have no flavor, no sweetness and add no calories. They are available in a wide range of flakes or shapes, and are manufactured in a full spectrum of colors including standard, plant-based and metallic colors. EdiSparklz are a very cost-effective alternative to standard decorative options like sprinkles, and save customers an average of 20% by switching.

Our Solutions

EdiSparklz Flakes

Flakes are lightweight, bright and have irregular shapes. Flakes work well as toppings on frostings and icings for frozen treats, savory snacks, confectionary and cereals. They also are ideal for inclusions within fillings of bars, muffins, cookies and cakes and compound coatings for enrobing on bars.

  • Standard flakes are made with standard colors such as FD&C and EU colorants. 
  • Plant-based flakes are available using food colorants such as cabbage juice, turmeric, cocoa and radish.
  • Metallic flakes are available using mica-based pearlescent pigments. 
  • Slow-soluble flakes are available for use in high-moisture systems such as baking mixes where glitter is included in the batter, frozen desserts, confections where the glitter is added prior to boiling, and syrups and beverages.

EdiSparklz Shapes

EdiSparklz are available in a variety of shapes, perfect for putting the finishing touch on a seasonal LTO. Stock shapes include stars, hearts, squares, trees, daisies, ghosts, emojis and more! They are water soluble and hold up well on products with low active moisture. Applications include toppings on cereals, confections, frosting, bars, snacks and frozen treats.
