Inspiration comes in many forms….and flavors. At Glanbia Nutritionals we create ingredient solutions with the end consumer in mind and continually strive to develop creative and innovative ways to cater to their ever evolving needs.

Now more than ever it’s imperative that brands connect with their customers. From home-workouts and increased family time to new-age virtual sporting events consumers have adapted to a new way of life that puts them at home more than ever before…and products need to adapt with them. 

While, in many ways, we eventually expect life to go back to the way it was, we also expect that consumers will be more vigilant when it comes to their health and wellbeing and they look to us to provide them with new, innovative products that fit their new normal.

The Home Workout Warrior

Are they inspirational overachievers or just so bored they’ve finally turned to exercise? Either way, the quarantine motivated people to continue their healthy lifestyle (or start one) from the comfort of their own home. In a recent consumer study prepared by the Glanbia Nutritionals Insights group it was found that on average 60% of people were working out at home during their COVID-19 quarantine. This provides a great opportunity for brands not only to be there for current sports nutrition users, but also convince the new Home Workout Warriors that these products can help make the most of their new at home workout routine.

What is eGaming? Simply put…it’s video gaming as a spectator sport and it’s estimated to be over $1b industry. Even prior to the COVID-19 pandemic which further skyrocketed eGaming’s appeal it was estimated that just under half a billion people globally would watch an e-sporting event in 2020. With so many encouraged to shelter-in-place over the course of a few months, and other sports being canceled or postponed, that number is likely to increase substantially.
